Don Strueber – Terrific
Tested Treasurer.
Don put heart and soul into the job of treasurer
for years, always balancing to the penny. Our financial
forecasts weren’t fables but facts! Under
Don’s guidance, the stewardship of our finances
was in excellent hands. We were, and remain, “steady
as she goes.” Joe Petrolis – Duke
of Design.
Joe’s design talents are seen again and again
at TWS. Always extremely able and willing to lend
a hand, he gave recent posters and Front Row Center
a polished, professional look, and he was the driving
force of the 75th logo as well as the commemorative
license plate design.
Marion Reis – Awesome Archivist.
Marion has lent his patient, thorough self to the
sorting and organizing of 75 years worth of history,
memorabilia, photos and programs. Our archives are
in tip-top shape, just in time for our celebratory
season. His in-depth archive research segued beautifully
into a tremendous part of the 75th commemorative
book.
Lori DAsta: Beatific Bridge Builder and Booster.
Lori has persistently and gracefully worked at building
and maintaining the bridges between our adult and
children's programs.
Nancy Whitlock: Beatific Bridge Builder and
Booster.
Nancy has persistently and gracefully worked at
building and maintaining the bridges between our
adult and children's programs.
Mike Huth: Resourceful Rebuilding Retiree.
Mike demonstrates over and over "How To Best
Spend Your Retirement." He has repeatedly and
creatively applied his inspiration, initiative and
creative skills to implement beneficial construction,
maintenance and special projects throughout the
Theatre, most recently creating order from chaos
in the MS control booth.
Pat Huth – Consistent Contributor.
Pat’s persistent, reliable and tireless "What
Else Needs To Be Done?" approach to assisting
on any and all crews and committees, always with
a smile and a kind word, exemplifies the TWS volunteer
spirit and practice.
Brian Centers - Palette Pilot.
Brian flies through the air with ease as he gives
enameled and latex face-lifts to our beloved edifice,
applying “make-up” to this old building,
with grace and style appropriate for this King of
Schmooze and Shape.
Bryon Abramowitz - Titan of Transfers.
Bryon spent tedious time transferring tape-recorded
conversations between John Kavan and other now legendary
Actives (Ella Heimbrodt, Dorothy (Hattendorf) Jarvis,
Phyllis MacLean, Gertrude Mattka and Marjorie Rutherford)
from reel-to-reel magnetic tape to a CD for modern
listening.
Gregg Valek – Helpful Humorous Handyman.
Gregg has applied his talents to repair and rejuvenate
our building’s plumbing, while constantly
reminding us of unabashed freedom to love, laugh
and live. |
