Our Professional Staff and Board of Governors

TWS has an excellent professional staff, but it would be inaccurate to say they "run" the theatre. TWS is proud of the fact that its Active members have always been the power behind the theatre's success. Our elected 9-member Board of Governors has the responsibility of making and implementing the policies that reflect the wishes of the Actives. With over 300 Actives, that isn't always an easy task, but our by-laws provide for lots of ways for the members to voice their opinions.

Likewise, our Children's Theatre has a Children's Theatre Advisory Committee that helps guide decisions pertaining to the operation of our Children's Theatre program.

Our professional staff includes four directors who serve at the pleasure of the Board of Governors. They, in turn, supervise a Children's Theatre faculty of nine, box office and administrative staffs.
